Curtain Linings

In order to give your curtains the best appearance we recommend that you have them lined. They will hang better and the lining also gives them better protection from the sunlight and insulation in winter.

Curtains are bag lined (ie sewn into the curtain along the heading and down both sides).

We offer 4 types of lining:

• Polycotton Lining – a polyester and cotton mix lining. (Ivory)
• Cotton Sateen Lining – 100% cotton lining. (white or oyster we match to the main fabric selected)
• Blackout Lining – 3 pass blackout lining, highly recommended for fabrics with an uneven finish. Also helps to stop light from filtering through the fabric. (white or ivory we match to the main fabric selected)
• Interlining (Bonded bump)– recommended for light fabrics such as faux silks as it helps to give the fabrics an improved appearance and heavier handle when the curtains are hung.
